more to come

all i can say is that i am having fun making these. so i guess there will be more to come. i will have to say that i like making people, animals are ok, but i find it a little harder to do animals. i realize that it is hard to do animal that have whiskers. the zebra was real hard to do. the pieces were very tiny. i should have enlarge the picture and maybe it would not have been so hard to do. my gold is to see how many i can do and to try to also do a whole person not just the face. which me luck.

stitches,

thank you ladies for your lovely comments. carol and linda, i brought a dvd call, Making faces, by quilting arts workshop. maria elkins is the instructor. the dvd cost only about $21.00. maria elkins has also checked out my blog. and like what she has seen. the dvd gives you about 4 different ways of doing portrait quilts. i like the first technique. it is very easy. so good luck to the both of you.

Oh my gosh girl you are certainly on a roll. The animal pieces are way cool but you do capture something in the people portraits you create. Can;t wait to see the whole person you'll do.
